Salient features

 

Sone Canal System is one of the oldest canal system in the country. It is in operation since 1874.

The Sone Eastern Link Canal (SELC) Hydroelectric Project envisages to utilize the existing fall of 3.87 meters on Sone Eastern Link Canal at Km. 10.30(RD 33.80) near its confluence with Sone Eastern Main Canal for generation of Hydroelectric Project.
